Hi, I'm Tash.

I'm a postnatal doula based in Sheffield, providing practical help, emotional support and a calm, reassuring presence during the transition into parenthood.

Having experienced two very different births myself, I learnt how much the right support and environment can matter. That's what inspired me to become a doula.

My hope is that every family I work with feels supported, respected and cared for as they find their own way through this chapter.

My approach

I don't have an agenda.

I won't tell you what kind of parent you should be or what decisions you should make.

Instead, I listen, offer information where it's helpful, and support you in finding what feels right for you and your family.

I believe you are the expert on yourself, your baby and your family.

My role is not to tell you what to do, but to help you build confidence in your own instincts and decisions.

What matters to me

My work is rooted in inclusivity, respect and compassion.

I am fat-positive, queer-affirming and trauma-informed, and I welcome families of all kinds.

You should never feel that you need to shrink yourself, explain yourself or apologise for your needs.

I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable, safe and supported exactly as you are.

Training and qualifications

I trained as a doula with Nurturing Birth in 2025, where I developed the skills and knowledge to provide compassionate, evidence-based support throughout pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. My training focused on active listening, informed decision-making, advocacy and helping families feel confident and empowered as they navigate their own unique journey.

I have also completed the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers (ABM) Foundation Course, strengthening my understanding of infant feeding and enabling me to offer informed, supportive guidance to families in the early weeks and months after birth.

I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure the support I provide remains current, inclusive and centred on the needs of each family.
