You don't have to do this alone
The postnatal period can be beautiful, intense, exhausting and transformative.
In many cultures, new parents are supported to rest, recover and be cared for. In the UK, families are expected to navigate this huge transition with very little support around them.
Postnatal doula support helps bridge that gap.
My role is to create a supportive bubble around you and your family, so you can feel cared for while you recover, bond with your baby and find your rhythm together.
What support might look like
Every family is different, so every visit is shaped around what feels most helpful on the day.
Some visits may feel practical and busy. Others may be slower and more reflective.
I will always follow your lead and respond to what feels most helpful in that moment.
Support might include:
Emotional support and reassurance
Talking through your birth or postnatal experience
Helping you build confidence with your baby
Supporting feeding journeys without judgement
Holding your baby while you rest, shower or enjoy a hot meal
Preparing simple meals and snacks
Light household tasks such as laundry, dishes, changing bedding or tidying
Supporting older children and pets
Accompanying you to appointments or outings with your baby
Helping you access specialist feeding or postnatal support where needed
Offering reassurance when things feel overwhelming
